Done for an international currculating art festival and exhibition called Tiger Translate. The brief asked the artist to interpret the concept of personal growth or global growth. However, I feel global growth and personal growth must coexist for a society or person to truly mature. One can not happen without the other. For a society to advance, it must rely on its greatest resource and foundation; its own people.

Culture, wealth, technology, and all the other aspects of a developed community stems from the intellect of its inhabitants. People have to be continually motivated to learn new things, take risks and accept challenges, willing to accept help from others while remembering their own roots and culture. When the majority is open to personal growth, society will blossom in return.

As the community becomes stronger and wiser, it has the responsibility to support its people, providing education and protection, nurturing their talents, and accepting progress, and respecting its own history.

Personal growth and global growth is a cycle. The people rely on their society while nurturing it, and a society is only as strong as the people it supports.
