Commissioned by book publishing company Simon & Schuster for the Erec Rex novel series by author Kaza Kingsley. The top was intentionally left blank for the title text. The low view point was to emphasis the villian's size, and allow him to tower over his victim and our heroes. The challenge in this piece was to tell the story using foreground, middle ground and background, while being confined in the space of the book cover and leaving room for the text. Greek inspired jewlery and architecture was used to reflect the orginal lore of the minotaur creature.
